本日のSF『スモーク・リング』ラリイ・ニーヴンである！

ラリイ・ニーヴンはラリイ・ニーヴンだけあってだいたいどれを読んでもおもしろい。でも、
これはなかなかうまく回っていないようで、だいじょうぶかと思ったが（もちろんラリイ・ニーヴンなのでそれなりにはおもしろくはできている）、終わりの方に来たら一気におもしろくなった。

というか、もっとこの世界観と人間関係であと一冊くらい後編として続いてほしいくらいであった。読んでそう思う時は作者も思っていたりするので、そんな感じで大長編ばかりになって、いつまでも作品が終わらない病になってしまうのだろう。

ハル９０００のようなコンピューターが出て来るのだが、ハル９０００のようにならないあたりが、さすがラリイ・ニーヴンで話の作り方がうまい。
